We are saddened to share that Neil Tolliday has passed away. Neil was the son of Eric Tolliday, after whom the Sirovilla Point Lonsdale units were named – The Eric Tolliday Units. Our thoughts are with Neil’s wife, Marg, and the Tolliday family at this time.
Neil’s father, Eric Tolliday, was a highly respected community member who dedicated more than 30 years of service to the Queenscliff and District Memorial Hospital Society and the Queenscliff and District Community Health Centre. His outstanding contribution was honoured through the naming of these units, first opened in two stages during the early 1980s.
When the units were redeveloped by Sirovilla and reopened, Neil and Marg Tolliday, along with several members of the Tolliday family, joined the celebrations in March 2024 (picture below) and helped plant a commemorative tree alongside Sirovilla and Bellarine Community Health representatives on the grounds of Sirovilla Point Lonsdale. Neil expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Tolliday family, congratulating everyone involved in bringing the project to life.
With heartfelt sympathy, The Sirovilla Team
